A quick update

Most of the group’s online life is on Facebook right now, so here’s what else we’ve done in the last year.

In July 2014 we found ourselves with lots of leather and held a leatherworking workshop and pot luck.  Must do that again.

In August and December we held other pot lucks, all these at the Goulburn Club.

In February and March 2015 we held arts and sciences nights in conjunction with pot luck dinners, at John and Sharen’s glorious if somewhat crumbly mansion in Goulburn.

We all went to Rowany Festival at Easter, with a very large campsite and our own tavern, the Kraken’s Arms.

Somewhere in there the College of Heralds confirmed our group’s name (ie Okewaite) and heraldry: “Per saltire purpure and argent, in cross three acorns and a laurel wreath counterchanged.”  Note that the acorns all hang downwards, whereas they used to point to the middle.
